State of the Art Care
Frazer Dental Care offers in-office digital x-rays for your convenience. Digital x-rays are computer-generated images that require up to 90% less radiation than with conventional film-type x-rays. Instead of using the traditional silver-oxide x-ray film that must be developed & then fixed in caustic & environmentally damaging solutions, the new system takes pictures via a small electronic sensor & instantaneously transmits a picture of the tooth onto the video monitor in the treatment room. Therefore, we can see your teeth & surrounding structures immediately. Feel free to contact Frazer Dental Care for more details or to schedule an appointment!
Frazer Dental Care dentists can now perform a wide range of dental procedures on teeth, gum & bone more comfortably than ever. With the traditional dental drill, the primary cause of discomfort is a combination of heat, vibration & pressure, but with drill-less dentistry, these issues are a thing of the past. With drill-less dentistry, you will experience fewer shots & less discomfort, as well as reduced bleeding, swelling &, in many cases, the need for pain medication. Contact Frazer Dental Care today to learn more about drill-less dentistry.
We understand your concerns regarding the use of mercury fillings. Accordingly, at our office we have elected to only use new advanced fillings made of tooth-colored materials that contain no metals or mercury. It’s just one more way that we show our care for you. Your safety & aesthetics are our primary concerns!
Nitrous Oxide Sedation
Also known as laughing gas, nitrous oxide is a great tool for patients who may be uneasy about their dental procedures. The beauty of laughing gas is that your dentist can constantly adjust your level of sedation during the procedure & once shut off, the effects stop almost immediately. A few minutes after the procedure is complete, you’ll be back to normal!
Call today to schedule your appointment, or to see if you’re a candidate for nitrous oxide sedation!
Oral Cancer Screening
Early detection is key in the battle against cancer, & this is no different with oral cancer. Even if you don’t smoke, keep in mind that 25% of oral-cancer diagnoses are for non-smokers. It’s important that every patient receive a simple & pain-free exam from one of our dentists. Remember that when caught early, oral cancer has an 80 to 90% survival rate. So don’t put off your examination another minute!
Oral Sedation (Sleep Dentistry)
With Oral Sedation (also known as Sleep Dentistry), you actually won’t be asleep, which typically allows the patient to feel slightly in control & gives them the ability to answer the doctor’s questions. You also may not remember much, which is why this procedure has been called “Sleep” Dentistry. Oral sedation is a very safe method when monitored by a certified dental professional. Your gag reflex will be minimized, making your procedure an easy one!
Oral Sedation, or Sleep Dentistry, is best for our patients who feel any of the following concerns:
- I’m afraid of needles & shots.
- I’ve had bad experiences before.
- I have not been to the dentist in a long time.
- I always gag when having dental work done.
- I just can’t seem to get numb.
- All my teeth are too far gone.
